Shame on all you people reviewing less than 5 stars! This place is amazing! The building is the original school house for Addison from way back when, there is a bit of an 'old building smell' but look past this and see the amazing experience that waits for you and your family. We had Captain Jack Sparrow and he was great! We were a very high maintenance table(11 people total-- 2 kids, 1, toddler, and 2 new borns.. And 3 pairs of parents who needed a night out). Our food came out quickly and was very tasty. Our kids walked around the restaurant and got autographs from all the characters. I love my bubbling potion drink and my kids thought theirs were pretty sweet too! Go to magic time machine, enjoy it, have fun and laugh a lot!

Dear Magic Machine, I have been to your store at least 8 times in my life, and only two of those times you have been open and only one of those times was I able to buy a reader.
Why do you upset me so? Why does this grad student who does not conveniently live near campus have to drive there just to find out you're closed? Your business hours are clearly stated on the website, and on your answering machine, so why are you not there?
Oh, and how come when you tell me there is no course reader, I have to argue with you that there is? Why Magic Machine, are you making my life so difficult?
All I want to do is spend 90 dollars on a course reader, but you're not even letting me hand you my money.
As the majority of USC students do, I also come here to buy my course readers at the beginning of each semester. But the Magic Machine's main claim to fame is that they are a printing/copying business. Whenever I need to make copies (which is at least once a week), I come here because not only is it close-by (located at the UV next to The Well near Burger King), but it's also cheaper than other places like Kinko's and Office Depot.
You can either choose to make copies yourself or you can give it to the man behind the counter who usually does it in a jiffy. But sometimes if he's busy with other copying to do first, he tells you to come back in 20 minutes or so which is usually no problem because there's a Starbucks next door to wait at. They also have a really cool automatic paper-cutting machine that cuts like hundreds of papers at once! I'm seriously amazed every time! I wonder where I can get one of those...
Anyway, if you are in the area, and especially if you're an SC student (FIGHT ON!!), come here for your copying needs and for stationery too! :)
