It might be some time before the world sees Booster on the big screen, considering WB’s focus is on the lead up to Justice League and movies surrounding its members until 2020. Though even after the Justice League arrives, the studio will keep things rolling with DC superheroes with the recent announcement that Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Edge of Tomorrow) will be directing a film version of Justice League Dark.
Warner Bros. brought together several of its marquee DC superheroes for this year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and will unite even more of them for next year’s Justice League, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash. But one DC superhero who won’t be reporting for duty? Booster Gold.
Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes will be in stores June 19th for all current generation consoles and handhelds: Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, 3DS, PS Vita and PCs.
